Cell counting is one of the most unloved tasks in the cell biology laboratory. Additionally, manual cell counting is notoriously dependent on the specific person doing it which leads to non-reproducible and unreliable results.

Automated cell counting in combination with a robotic system alleviates these issues.

In Cellerity™, we use the gold standard in automated cell analysis: the Trypan Blue exclusion-based CEDEX cell analyser from the inventor of the first image based, fully automated cell analyser, innovatis.

The instrument is completely integrated into Cellerity or any Freedom EVO® workstation allowing you to:

Use the cell count to automatically calculate the factor to dilute the cell suspension after harvesting

Calculate the cell growth rate

Detect the viability of the cell culture

Document additional parameters such as cell aggregation rate, cell size and cell morphology.
